Ottoman Shaami

This armoire was crafted from walnut wood over 130 years ago at Mashghal Shaami, a Syrian workshop with a long-standing furniture-making tradition. It is fully inlaid with micro-mosaic and geometric patterns, creating a rich and detailed design. The armoire features an ornate paneled crown and two arched mirrored doors — bearing the heavier proportions and bolder borders characteristic of the late Ottoman period in Syria.
